On December 27, 2017, we were at Bath And Body Works at Wiregrass Mall at 9am. Employees were seen in the store standing around talking.

Once we were spotted, the employees flocked to the back of the store and never opened the doors as their store hours are posted as 9am-9pm. Still at 9:20am no one came to the doors to open them for business. Very unprofessional. At this point there were ten people standing outside waiting for the store to open.

There were employees visible in the store but no one made a motion to open the doors. Business must be good that they don't have to open on time.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $50.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: Lack of customer service.

They open at 10AM. It was AFTER Christmas.

Just because the employees are inside, does NOT mean they are open for business! They need to get ready to open. Open and count the registers, make sure the correct items are on the floor, etc. Why do customers just assume we go into work in the morning & everything is ready for the day???

There ARE procedures in place. Just like at night we don't just lock the doors and leave. We have closing procedures! Tills have to be counted then closed, cleaning needs to be done, items need to be put away.

The ghosts at night do NOT do this for us!!! How rude of you to just stand at the closed doors and stare at them while they work to open up the store! And yes, we DO have to communicate with each other at work whether you like it or not.

We can't read minds, so the communication HAS to be done by opening our mouths. I bet you never talked to any of your fellow teammates at any of your jobs, huh???
